Killian Chukwuebuka · Biomedical Engineering PhD

What happens when science meets execution?

I investigate difficult healthcare problems, build technologies around them, and lead the complex work required to move ideas toward reality.

One question

How can we detect disease earlier, understand it better, and build better ways to act on what we learn?

That question has taken me from materials engineering to cancer biomechanics, diagnostics, AI-enabled healthcare, regulated programs, and digital health.

Research / cancer mechanics

A cell is more than what it looks like.

The question

Can the physical behavior of a cancer cell reveal something about the disease itself?

Years of work across AFM, viscoelastic behavior, cell mechanics, and quantitative analysis became a framework for exploring mechanical biomarkers.

The intersection

My advantage isn't one discipline.

Biomedical engineering gives me scientific depth. Research gives me the ability to investigate uncertainty. Technology gives me the ability to build. Program leadership gives me the ability to make complex things happen.
